
Unilab Foundation drives transformative change in the Philippines by strategically strengthening its health and education sectors.
Through collaborative initiatives like the Unilab Center for Health Policy (UCHP), we foster vital dialogue to improve healthcare delivery including Heads Up PH, Project Kaakbay, as well as our special projects: AMDev (in partnership with USAID), HSSC (supported by DFAT and PBEd), and CISTEM, empower youth, build skilled workforces, and advance educational excellence, ultimately creating a healthier and more prosperous nation.
Our Programs


provides a venue for stakeholders in both government and the private sector to better understand health policies and implementation arrangements. It also facilitates fruitful, solutions-focused dialogue aimed at delivering better health services, particularly to the most vulnerable. These efforts helped establish UCHP as a think tank on health provisions, bridging system gaps in the Philippine healthcare system.





is a mental health and wellbeing program that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young Filipinos through holistic mental health programs. Working with partners, the program focuses on capacity building for educators, providing learners with access to information to improve their key socio-emotional skills and building community support for the promotion of our advocacy.

Working with community and school-based partners, the program equips the youth to be advocates for health by building leadership and project management competencies, implementing health projects in their communities, and advocating for sustainable youth engagement.

is a five-year (August 2022 - July 2027) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) program implemented by ULF. It seeks to develop a pipeline of highly skilled and adaptive workers who meet the evolving requirements of the advanced manufacturing sector through better-defined, harmonized skills and qualifications descriptors, as well as competency and training standards.






is a project implemented by ULF, with support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of the Australian Government and the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd). The project aims to prepare the necessary groundwork to better understand the future needs of Human Resources for Health (HRH) of the country and help government strengthen policies, regulations, curriculum development, technology acquisition, and HRH deployment.






empowers individuals and institutions to bridge skill gaps by focusing on teacher professional learning through continuous professional development, collaborative learning, and leadership development. ULF supports CISTEM in its comprehensive programs to train STEM educators in cutting-edge teaching methodologies, content knowledge, and innovative tools to enhance STEM education across diverse learning environments.
